In order to participate we ask that you Private Message the Admin with your information. Until we receive that information you be placed in a group called "Awaiting Approval" after you are confirmed you will be placed in the the group "Confirmed Employee." Members of the "Awaiting Approval" will not be able to view topics or post until they are confirmed and placed in the "Confirmed Employee" group. When you signed up the website should have generated a private message too your account requesting what information is required. Since the layoffs have occured all new persons interested in joining the board will be denied, because I no longer have access to the information required to approve new members. It was nice working with all of you.

Hi.

Admin can continue to run it, since it's his, without adding new members, or, someone could take it over from him, or someone could start a new one.

It's possible that admin could get his job back, keep running this site, and add new members at that time.

Cliff, It's not mine it's ours. All I am saying is right now I don't want to go into work to ask did so and so work here in 1998. Once I get my life in line here, and find a new job I will use my contacts back at JUS to confirm employment again, but I really don't think it is going to be a problem, because it is going to be a while before we see new hires at USA Jet.
I will take care of of the site, and if it becomes to much I will get some help. Right now I think everyone that is interested is already here. I have enjoyed watching the site develop, and the exchange of information that has taken place here.

Have them sign up and then PM me letting me know that you can attest to their employment I will get them set up. I was told that my lay off is "long term" so I am being realistic about being called back any time soon. And I can not guarantee that I would take the call back, that all depends on where I am and what is going on when and if I get that call. The company I knew is gone, so we all have to make that decision on a individual basis.

The site is a unofficial site, but I would like to think of it as a the "official unoffical site." Other small companies I have worked at either had a message board or a yahoo group, and not once was it ever ran by the company. My objective was to bring us all together so that we could discuss problems and praise those that went above and beyond, in the hope that we could make the company a great place to work. It was also a effort to keep our dirt off of the other boards like flightinfo and propilotworld, because some things are best discussed among ourselves. I took a calculated risk in starting it, and honestly I am proud of what everyone has made of it. I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to put the "moderator" hat on. Just goes to show you the quality of people I use to work with. It's paining me a great deal to see everyone hop in their cars and head home, to uncertainty, and a tough job market. This has been a experience I will never forget, and that is only because of the people. Thanks for that.
